Warped Steel Lost
In The Sea
Wrong it seemed to
be,
That we were now
sideways,
Warped steel lost
in the sea,
Ever vigilant, yet
lost was my gaze.
Livid and angry
has her damaged face,
Set on fire like
the frontend,
Poor judgment was
not the case,
That flung our
souls around the bend.
Acrid smoke in my
nose,
Her siren cry
broke my shock,
Like the metal
around us close,
Ironic taste now
coats the clock.
New movement the
problems compound,
Complex machine
but if it breaks,
True feelings
cannot expound,
The sensation of
having no brakes.
